The Data Express 50 SAS/SATA removable drive carrier and frame is a reliable and versatile removable enclosure combination for 2.5" SAS or SATA drives. The DE50 frame and carrier are constructed of solid steel and sturdy lightweight plastic and fits into any 3.5" floppy or 5.25" peripheral bay, including CDROM slots. The Data Express 50 6G receiving frame offers 6 Gbps performance when used with a 6 Gbps drive and host configuration. The Data Express 50 enclosure is also compatible with 3 Gbps drives and host configurations, with its performance limited by the drive/host interface.
