SDS MAX Combination Hammer is a heavy weight, high-performance hammer that is powered by a brushless motor and a durable German-engineered mechanism. It delivers 19.4 Joules of impact energy for fast drilling and chipping, even in the hardest concrete. The constant speed electronics allow the tool to maintain speed under load. The heavy weight design makes it ideally suited for horizontal and downward drilling for #9 - #14 rebar dowel applications, dry coring up to 6 in., chipping in any lower wall and floor, ground rod driving, and bushing. This hammer is part of the PERFORM & PROTECT™ product line, integrated with the Anti-Rotation E-CLUTCH® System and the SHOCKS Active Vibration Control® System. This tool is Tag-Ready with a designated area for DCE041 Tag palcement. The DCE041 Tag is designed to be tracked with the TOOL CONNECT™ System via the DEWALT Site Manager™ app. This hammer becomes OSHA Table 1 Compliant when used with the either DWH050 or DWH053 shrouds and DCV585 dust extractor.
