The much-anticipated Emtac GPS speedometer has all the same features as the OEM Yamaha Speedometer as well as a few new features. One such new feature being the GPS capabilities and because it uses satellite GPS to track and display speed/distance instead of pressure tubes this speedometer can be used on ANY boat with any motor. Speed can be displayed in knots, miles per hour, and kilometers per hour while distance can be displayed in miles or kilometers. Having a GPS also gives it the ability to display the vessel's course over ground (COG). The fuel gauge function is programmed to work with fuel senders for US, European, and Yamaha tanks. Settings can easily be changed with the set and mode buttons (no need to get into dipswitches in the back). Now compatible with Yamaha fuel management! The new model has NMEA 0183 GPS output! Emtac Speedometers are tested to meet the IP67 ingress protection standard, this means it can withstand submersion for 30 minutes at a depth of one meter. All gauges are backed by a 24-month warranty against manufacturing defects.
