Photo Rag Baryta 315gsm is a OBA-free, 100 rag, natural-white paper with a barium sulfate finish that combines the virtues of a luxury cotton paper and a traditional baryta board, giving this rag base paper the high-gloss finish needed for color fidelity and enhanced luminosity, while its very fine surface texture with the baryta gloss endows portraits with a particularly expressive character. This paper features a "wow" factor particularly to black and white prints with its extremely high dmax and as well as the finest grey tones and lustre colour images. The premium inkjet coating also offers a very high level of water resistance, plus its premium formulation allows for 3-dimensional colour depth and a large colour gamut with high image definition. Touching and feeling the ultra smooth surface is a unique experience. The use of barium sulphate in the premium inkjet coating will ensure the typical gloss making this paper a genuine replacement for traditional Baryth papers from analogue laboratories. Used for archival quality prints, cotton is naturally pH neutral leading to longer life of photographs, and its fibres are longer than wood fibres, offering a stronger paper that is much more durable.
