Our Defender Security Max Security Combo Strike is a one-piece combo plate that comes with six 3 inch long screws for maximum security. These longer screws allow for a strong hold, which helps prevent kick-ins. Made of stamped steel with a satin nickel finish, this door strike is strong and durable, sure to last the test of time. Installation is quick and easy, and the door strike fastens into jamb and door frame with screws. Some mortising and pilot hole drilling may be required for a flush install. This door strike features slightly taller latch and bolt openings to accommodate door hardware spaced from 5-1/2 inch to 6 inch hole centers. *Installation note: It is best to pilot drill a hole for the 3 inch long screws and use a hand operated screw driver to install the 3 inch long screws.
